John P. Holloway, Jr. John is an active member of the community serving as a board member for the Yampa Valley Community Foundation and as a Rotary member for many years. His ties to the community provide a basis for many contract negotiations, whether it is a real estate sale or the purchase or creation of a new business. In addition, John enjoys working closely with clients on estate planning, administration oftrusts and probate ofan estate after someone has passed away. John is also experienced in oil and gas and represents clients in the recently busy field of oil and gas in Colorado.

Jill A. Brabec. Jill started in politics, working in Washington D.C. for a large lobbying organization before settling in Steamboat Springs. Her strength and expertise are advocating and negotiating for clients, whether it be zoning and entitlements with the City Councilor Board of County Commissioners, or working through complex financing structure and documents for residential, commercial or development deals. Jill represents a number of owner associations and offers legal guidance to HOAs and owners in a wide variety of issues related to subdivisions and condominiums. Jill also enjoys working with individuals as they start or buy a new business or need assistance with an existing business. She frequently drafts wills, trusts and other estate planning documents.

Douglas A. Karet. Doug serves as the firm's litigation specialist when things look like they may be headed to court. As a seasoned trial lawyer with experience at a large national law firm, Doug handles all types of litigation by bringing a smart, level-headed and savvy approach to a case. Having also taught construction law at the University of Colorado in Boulder, Doug has a level of expertise in construction law that is hard to match. Doug helps his construction clients structure contracts and business ventures to avoid disputes or resolve disputes when they do arise. Doug also assists clients with general contract negotiations, evictions, real estate litigation, insurance issues and a wide variety of other civil litigation issues.
